Vinogram FAQs
Custom Wine Labels & Personalized Wine Gifts
General
What Is Vinogram?
Vinogram is a custom wine-label design platform that allows you to create personalized wine bottles for gifts and special occasions.
You select a wine option from a licensed winery partner, design a custom front label with photos and a message, preview your design, and place your order. The licensed winery applies the label and fulfills the order directly to the recipient.
How Does Vinogram Work?
Select your wine option, choose the occasion, pick a background or upload your own design, add up to three photos and a personalized message, preview your label, and place your order.
The licensed winery producing the wine applies your custom label and fulfills the shipment directly to the recipient.
Privacy & Data Protection
What Personal Information Does Vinogram Collect?
We collect limited information such as names, messages, photos, and shipping details to fulfill your order.
Is My Data Sold to Third Parties?
No. Vinogram does not sell your personal data.
Why Is My Information Shared with the Winery?
Certain order information must be shared with the licensed winery fulfilling the order so they can produce the custom label and complete shipment of the wine.
This information is used only for order fulfillment purposes.
Orders, Fulfillment & Compliance
Are Custom Wine Labels Legal?
Yes. Federal regulations administered by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) allow certain personalized label changes, such as greetings or personal messages, when applied within approved label templates maintained by the winery.
How Does Vinogram Stay Compliant?
Licensed wineries maintain approved label templates and are responsible for all regulatory compliance related to alcohol production, labeling, sales, and shipping.
Vinogram provides personalized label artwork within the parameters established by those winery templates.
Who Is Responsible for Selling and Shipping the Wine?
All wine sales and shipments are handled exclusively by licensed wineries. Vinogram does not sell, ship, or take title to alcoholic beverages.

Important UPS Delivery Process Update
UPS recently introduced a change to how shipments of adult beverage products are handled after the first missed delivery attempt.
After one missed delivery attempt, UPS will redirect the shipment to a nearby UPS Access Point rather than re-attempting delivery the next day. The package is held at the Access Point for up to 7 days at no charge. If it isn’t picked up within that window, it will be returned.
This means products spend less time on delivery trucks between attempts, reducing extreme weather condition exposure and handling. It also gives the customers more flexibility — they can pick up on their own schedule rather than waiting on another delivery window.
What customers need to know
- UPS will leave an InfoNotice at the door with the Access Point name and address
- Tracking will be updated in real time; customers enrolled in UPS notifications will receive an alert
- At pickup, customers must show a valid ID confirming they are 21+ and that the address matches the shipping label
- There is no pickup fee
- The Access Point will be within a 10–15 minute drive of the delivery address — closer in cities, up to 10 miles in rural areas
- If no Access Point is available nearby, UPS will continue standard delivery attempts and return the package after a third missed attempt
Customers can also continue to manage their package through UPS My Choice if they prefer a different outcome.
Can I Ship to a Business or UPS Store?
Yes. Wine shipments may be delivered to a business address or a UPS Store location for convenient pickup, subject to carrier policies.
